Cherise James
Residence Life Coordinator - South Area
jamesc@wfu.edu
I am one of the newest additions to Residence Life and Housing at Wake Forest. As the Residence Life Coordinator for South Campus, I work primarily with the staff and residents in our first-year residence halls. Some of my specific job functions include assisting with the Resident Advising course, co-advising the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), and acting as a liaison between first-year students and University administration.
I received my Bachelors of Science degree in public relations from the College of Journalism and Communication at the University of Florida. After completing my studies at UF, I worked as a full time professional for a privatized housing company. I was charged with running the housing program at a small fashion school in Atlanta, GA. After this brief hiatus, I returned to the Ft. Lauderdale area where I earned my masters in College Student Affairs with an emphasis in conflict analysis and resolution from Nova Southeastern University.
I am thrilled to officially be welcomed into the Demon Deacon family and look forward to serving you!
