Special Summer Housing
Who Qualifies
Any individual involved in non-classroom academic course work, such as, but not limited to, thesis, dissertation work, or internship work related to an academic discipline or other special circumstances, is qualified to live in Special Summer Housing.
Students officially enrolled in a summer school course or work at Wake Forest University do not qualify for Special Summer Housing. Summer school students must live in regular summer school housing. Accordingly, a student attending summer school may not room with a student who is eligible for special summer housing.
The Director of Conference Services, or designee, prior to the official room assignment being made, must approve all requests for Special Summer Housing.
Please note: Conference Services must receive a written verification from the sponsoring faculty member or employer verifying internship/employment. The sponsoring party can send this information in an e-mail to conferences@wfu.edu.
Special Summer Housing Application
Available Dates
Individuals can be housed for any length of time between Monday, June 2, 2008 and Friday, August 1, 2008. Why only these dates? Because Wake Forest students use the special summer housing building or facility during the academic year, and Facilities needs time to prepare the buildings before early arrivals.
Location & Description
Special Summer Housing facilities are located in Student Apartments Building B on Allen Easley Street. Each apartment consist of two bedrooms, a living room, one bath, and a full kitchen.
Residents must furnish all essential amenities including: telephone, television, linens, cookware, dishes, etc.

- All payments must be in the form of cash or checks.
