Lifelong Friendships
|
For many, the primary reason for seeking membership in a fraternity is to meet people. But joining a Greek organization is so much more. You will do more than just “meet people.” The word fraternity is derived from a Greek word meaning “brotherhood.” Men in fraternities do not refer to each other as “friends,” they often refer to each other as “brothers.” There is a reason for this. At Wake Forest you will meet many people. There will be people in your classes, your residence hall, and other organizations of which you have membership. These people will be your friends, but many men in your fraternity will be your “Lifelong Friends.”
You will share a bond with the men in your fraternity that transcends friendship. Many of these men will even be there to share the most meaningful experiences after college. |
