Being a member in a fraternity gives you opportunities to get involved all over campus. Greeks each year participate in events like the Hit the Bricks for Brian, Greek Week, and Wake’n Shake Dance Marathon. Competitions in a fun and friendly environment help unify the Greek community as a whole. In addition, Greeks participate in Project Pumpkin. They setup booths and games, listen to music, and have fun with kids from Winston-Salem.
Greeks are involved in many campus organizations such as Student Union, Student Government, Orientation Committee, Harbinger Corps, Volunteer Service Corps, Mortar Board, and much more. Through these organizations, Greeks benefit the campus and community as a whole.
Many students are just as involved in other organizations as they are with their fraternity. Involvement on campus leads to a stronger connection to Wake Forest, and it has shown to help with student retention.
