At this point in the twentieth century, we have become a more "connected"
society in that the increase in the spread of communication has brought
us closer together. But what does this mean?
Does
it imply that our opinions are more homogeneous because of the images we
are shown by the media? How does the availability of the media affect how
we vote or if we even participate actively in a democratic society?
