    What is air pollution?

    Air pollution refers to the presence of foriegn substances that harm plants, animals, and property. Air pollution is a problem in countries where urban and population growth have been accompanied by industrial development and the use of the automoble. Some pollutants of the air comes from little things like aerosols that we take for granted. Dust, mists and gaseous pollutants are natural sources of air pollution.Smoke and fumes are a growing problem.They come from industries and automobles. All of this pollution has caused many people some health concerns .

Man-made air pollution

There are many types of man-made pollution in the world today.Motorvehicles, indusrties, power plants, spaceheating, refuse disposal, transportation services are the major contributors.Residential areas, apartments, office buildings are egually bad and are the greatest contributors.Narrow sources, such as canyon-like streets of the cities the automobile constitutes a great hazard to the general public. They emit the largest quantities of pollutants and poisons at breathing levels.However, line sources,such as expressways affect only drivers.
