Songs of Social Significance

This page will give examples and critiques of some songs that give views on
three sociological issues (war, racism, and poverty) that have held a great
deal of significance in the latter half of the twentieth century. This page will
give critiques of songs, but will also describe and analyze the issue that
    each song comments on.
