The Economic and Political Effects of ...................World War I on Germany...................
Carl Osberg
| World War I has had many lasting effects on the world. There is
the physical evidence found on some battle sites, still containing broken-down
barbed wire fences and occasional unmarked gravesites. There is another
type of evidence which is found in the written works regarding World War
I. When World War I is discussed in history books and various other materials,
it feels as if it were ages ago. Sometimes it feels as if the battles were
fought under ancient leaders with limited technology compared to today's
wars. Yet how could it be possible then to still feel the effects of The
Great War that was so long ago?
