  • Dr. Katula participated in the Diabetes Prevention Translation Summit, Washington DC, June 12, 2011.  The purpose of this invitation-only summit was to develop a demonstration diabetes prevention project for the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) to use for an upcoming policy proposal.  The HELP PD model was highlighted as one of the two premiere models of diabetes prevention that will be included in this demonstration project.  The summit was hosted by the Joslin Diabetes Center and Human Affairs.
