Physical Activity

www.fitnessonline.com
The American Heart Association sponsors this website in hopes that it will motivate people to start, continue, and improve exercise programs. Anyone can sign up for their own virtual personal trainer who will provide them with education and motivation in regards to their exercise program. Everyone can set up their personal exercise program and keep a workout diary online.

www.justmove.org
This web site's exercise diary keeps a running record of daily workouts; users will type in the exercise goals and record the exercises performed, then a chart will show your progress. Cyberteams are created to group users with similar fitness interests. Team members provide one another with accountability and motivation to meet personal fitness goals.

www.womenssportsfoundation.org
The Women's Sports Foundation was founded in 1974 by several champion female athletes. The organization wanted to educate the public about gender equality in sports and encourage female's participation in sports. The web site acts as an information resource for girls and women who participate in fitness activities. Users can take interactive quizzes to find a sport that fits their interests. You can read the Gender Equality Guide and get advice about any issues concerning gender equality from on-line knowledgeable representatives.
