Health management
- Staff who contract the flu should refrain from coming to work until free of fever (without using fever reducing medications) for at least 24 hours, per the CDC's guidelines.
Absence management
- Those with flu-like symptoms should communicate directly and immediately with their supervisor, following established departmental procedures, and seek medical care from their primary physician or Urgent Care Clinic. Staff who contract the flu should refrain from coming to work until free of fever for at least 24 hours, per the CDC's guidelines.
