Dr. Grant P. McAllister
Dr. McAllister's article "The Dagger is the Pen: Violence and Writing in Lessing's Emilia Galotti" appeared in the journal Seminar the past November. His study looks at the way violence functions as a metaphor for poetic production.
Dr. Kurt Shaw
Dr. Shaw recently published “No Day at the Beach: Dragomán as Leander in George Konrád’s A Feast in the Garden (Kerti mulatság).” South Atlantic Review. Vol. 75, No. 1 (Winter, 2010): 99-114. Another article, "My Heart Belongs to Daddy: The Melinda-Jeremiah-Dragomán Connection in George Konrád's A Feast in the Garden (Kerti mulatság)," is currently under review.
