Graduation:
The German Department graduates per year around 15 majors and minors, which is a high number for a department our size.

After German?
Every year the German and Russian Department graduates Rhoads and Fulbright scholars and many more who continue their studies at prestigeous graduate programs throughout the country. Without exception our graduates are ambitious, intelligent, and above all adventerous. Over the past 10 years we have had 1 Rhoads Scholar, 10 Fulbright Scholars, and many more attending graduate school, law school or medicine. Below is a list of just a handful of our graduates and what they are up to today.

  • Lakshmi Krishnan is a Rhodes Scholar and is currently finishing her graduate degree at Oxford.
  • In 2006 Toby Mag began his graduate studies in German at UNC Chapel Hill;
  • In 2007 Niki McInteer began her graduate studies in German at the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Erica Demarest and David Schoen are both Fulbright Scholars and are teaching in Germany.
  • Logan Webb is a dental student at UNC, Chapel Hill.

If you are a Wake Forest German major, please send us a note about your post graduation activities. Contact our Administrative Assistant Tara Ogletree.
