SUMMER SCHOOL STUDENTS: 2013
Financial aid for summer school at Wake Forest consists of
any remaining eligibility for federal financial aid (Pell Grants,
Perkins Loans, Work-Study, Stafford Loans, and PLUS Loans) and
private educational loans. There are no institutional funds
available for summer school. Applicants for Stafford and PLUS
loans must enroll in at least 6 hours during the summer. Federal
aid applicants must meet satisfactory academic progress requirements.
Visiting students cannot receive federal financial aid.
Students intending to apply for
federal aid should have a 2012-13 FAFSA on file with the Office
of Student Financial Aid by April 15, 2013. In
addition, all students who plan to attend summer school should
complete the Application for Summer 2013 Financial Aid, which will be available on this page in March. If you were eligible for a Federal Pell Grant for 2011-12, please indicate on your application that you are applying for a summer school Federal Pell Grant.
Please refer to the 2012-13 Undergraduate Need-Based Aid brochure for more information about your financial aid award.
If you need to borrow a private education loan for summer 2012, please review this information about private supplemental loans. Contact your chosen lender and complete all required forms for them. Also submit to the Financial Aid Office the Application for Summer 2013 Financial Aid, so that we can accurately certify your private loan for your lender.
PLUS Loan borrowers, please complete the PLUS Loan Authorization Form.
