Holding Scholarship
Established in 1988 by the Holding family of Eastern North Carolina, Wake Forest awards up to one renewable Holding Scholarship valued at up to full tuition to a student from North Carolina (with strong preference given to applicants from eastern North Carolina). who has shown strong academic talent and an exceptional promise in civic leadership. These scholarships awarded to students who have shown strong academic talent and an exceptional promise in civic leadership. Holding Scholars have the opportunity to apply for summer grants for research, travel, and study.
The Holding Scholarship is a competitive need-based scholarship. Applicants should complete both the CSS Profile and the FAFSA by February 15, so that need may be determined before the selection process is complete.
