George E. and Lila C. Bradford Scholarships
The George E. and Lila C. Bradford Scholarship began in 1986. The Bradford Scholarship provides one scholarship to cover the annual cost of tuition, room and board, plus $1500 for personal expenses. Bradford Scholars are honorary Carswell Scholars who are encouraged to apply for up to $2000 for a research, study, or travel project during each of the three summers between the first and senior years. Bradford Scholars also receive an extra $500 allowance for expenses related to one semester at a Wake Forest overseas program. The Bradford Scholarship is awarded to a student with an intent and capacity to prepare for a career in medicine. The scholarship is renewable for subsequent years subject to satisfactory academic achievement.
