Payments

Student Financial Services accepts payment by e-check (ACH), check, wire transfer, or cash. Debit/Credit cards are not accepted to pay charges on the student account. All payments must be made using US dollars.

The preferred payment method is through DEAC.

Payments received via mail will appear on your student account the day after receipt.

Checks: Please make checks payable to Wake Forest University. Be sure to print your Student ID Number on the check to ensure that the check is properly credited to your account. Wake Forest does not accept post dated checks.

Wire Transfers: Wire transfers can be sent with the following information; please indicate checking or savings (in US Dollars):

In order to identify where wire proceeds are to be applied, please include the following information:

Full Name of Student
Student ID Number

The student's account will be credited with the amount received. For immediate confirmation, please forward the wire information via fax to 336-758-4004.

Deacon OneCard: The Deacon OneCard is not accepted as a payment method for tuition, housing and meal plan charges.  Students can use the Deacon OneCard to pay for incidental fees such as parking/housing fines, vaccinations, etc. at the Student Financial Services window at 107 Reynolda Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Cash: Loose coins in excess of the amount that can be rolled are not acceptable for payment of any fee unless they are wrapped in appropriate denominational coin wrappers and signed by the payer.

Debit/Credit Cards: Debit/Credit cards are not accepted as a payment method on the student account. Wake Forest University does not accept prepaid health care debit cards as a method of payment for student health charges that are charged on the student’s account. Please ask your medical prepaid plan to issue a check for the charges payable to Wake Forest University. Please include student’s WFU ID# on the check and mail to:
