Grant to Support Math and Science Teacher Education
Leah McCoy (Education) and Angela King (Chemistry) have been awarded a Noyce Scholarship Grant from the National Science Foundation. The $893,753 grant will fund financial aid and other support for master's candidates in mathematics and science education over the next five years. See http://www.wfu.edu/education/WINS/
Elizabeth Jackson and Hannah Mendelson Present Strategies for Smartphones at NECC
First-year Elementary Education alumni, Elizabeth Jackson and Hannah Mendelson, presented their classroom integration strategies for the Smartphone to an audience of over 200 educators at the International Society for Technology in Education’s National Educational Computing Conference in Washington, DC on June 28.
