Programs of Study
At the heart of the School of Divinity's academic offerings is the program leading to the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree. The program is designed to prepare men and women for competent and faithful service to the church and to the world.
70 hours of core and distribution hours; 20 hours elective course hours. For the general electives, students may choose from a broad selection of courses in the School of Divinity or approved classes from the University. Total program: 90 course hours.
The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, through the Department of Religion, offers an MA Religion.

The faculties of the Wake Forest University School of Divinity and the Department of Counseling announce the establishment of a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Counseling dual degree. This degree is an academic program for graduates who seek to enter the ministry with skills in both theology and in counseling.
The School of Divinity houses several centers for specialized studies, including congregational health, Baptist studies, urban studies, Presbyterian studies and vocational formation. |
