How will we remember you? In one word: “often”, on many days, but predominantly in three main ways. Fondly like a picture that is cherished like a moment full of laughter like the sun breaking through the clouds like a breeze on a summer day. Joyfully for we have watched you grow in the darkness of winter and in the warmth of spring you have come alive, budded, and blossomed now you will bear fruit. Gratefully for you have shared your lives with us sometimes painfully, often personally, always professionally You have pushed yourself to explore the essence of who you are and have challenged us appropriately in the process. So we say “good-bye,” “adieu,” “farewell,” Fondly, Joyfully, Gratefully. We celebrate who you are and who you will become. So take these thoughts and our good wishes with you for they are like powerful dreams best embraced in moments of uncertainty and reflected on in times of strengths.
