Where Are You From?:
A Symposium on Immigration, Mobility and Citizenship
Wake Forest University
March 29-30, 2012

Wake Forest University American Ethnic Studies, the Provost’s Fund for Academic Innovation, the Institute for Public Engagement, the Provost Office of Global Affairs, the Department of Communication, Women and Gender Studies, and the students of ‘Practices of Citizenship’ invite students, scholars, community members, interest groups, and all those interested to a Symposium to discuss immigration, mobility, and citizenship. We will launch the ‘Where Are You From?’ Project and discuss interviews about mobility, origins and immigration with the participants, scholars and activists.

The Symposium will feature keynote addresses by Anne Demo, Syracuse University, and Brad Vivian, Syracuse University, as well as a workshop by special guest researcher and activist Angela Kocze, European Central University, Hungary.
