Academic Resources
The following learning resources and opportunities are available to all undergraduate students in the Wake Forest College.
- Writing Center. The purpose of the Writing Center at Wake Forest is to offer students a place where they can discuss their writing and writing processes with trained tutors. This center is open to all students, with writing questions from any discipline.
- Math Center. The Math Center offers one-on-one Math tutoring for all Wake Forest students.
- International and study abroad. The International Studies office offers many international opportunities, including study abroad programs, international student and scholar services, and international minors.
- Tutoring Opportunities. The Learning Assistance Center offers tutoring services for students who wish to improve their knowledge of course content in most any College course or academic discipline.
- Open curriculum. The Open Curriculum is a program designed to enable students to develop their own programs of study with the guidance of faculty advisers. It provides students with an opportunity to pursue a course of study more compatible with individual background, preparation and interest than is afforded by the regular lower division curriculum.
- Libraries. Wake Forest University enjoys the professional services and support of three distinct libraries.
- Z. Smith Reynolds Library. The Z. Smith Reynolds Library on the Reynolda Campus supports instruction and research at the undergraduate level and in the disciplines awarding graduate degrees through the Wayne Calloway School of Business and Accountancy, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the Divinity School. The Z. Smith Reynolds Library holds over 1.2 million volumes and subscribes to nearly 7,500 periodicals and serials.
- The Coy C. Carpenter Library serves the University's School of Medicine's faculty and students, the North Carolina Baptist Hospitals, Inc., physicians, staff, patients and their families, and the Medical Center's regional health care delivery system community.
- Professional Center Library The Professional Center Library serves the students and faculty of the School of Law and the Babcock Graduate School of Management. The Library welcomes members of the legal, business and general community.
