DIRECTIONS TO GRAYLYN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTER
By air:
- Winston-Salem is served primarily by the Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro, NC. Commercial airlines serving the Piedmont Triad Airport include American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines, USAirways and Allegiant Air.
- Taxis and rental cars are available, and express shuttle service is operated by PART from the PTI Airport to each major city in the Piedmont Triad. The fare for PART is $2 for adults and transfers are free. You can visit www.visitwinstonsalem.com or the WFU Visitors’ Center for more information on cabs, limousine services, shuttles and rates.
- Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is about an hour and twenty minutes away. Information on transportation to Winston-Salem from CLT can be found at the airport website.
- Raleigh/Durham International Airport (RDU) is about an hour and a half away. Information on transportation to Winston-Salem from RDU can be found at the airport website.
- The Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem is available to charter and private aircraft as well as some commuter flights.

- From Washington, D.C. (and points north):
Take I-95 south to I-85 south to I-40 west. In Winston-Salem take Business 40 to the Silas Creek Parkway North exit. Follow the signs to Wake Forest University/Reynolda Road and follow directions below. - From Atlanta (and points south):
Take I-77 north to I-40 east. In Winston-Salem take Business 40 to the Silas Creek Parkway North exit. Follow the signs to Wake Forest University/Reynolda Road and follow directions below. - From Raleigh (and points east):

- Museum of Anthropology
Located behind Kentner Stadium on the campus of Wake Forest University,
the Museum of Anthropology is North Carolina’s only museum dedicated to the study of world cultures. It features permanent exhibits displaying artifacts from the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania and special changing exhibits.

- Reynolda House Museum of American Art
Located less than one mile from Graylyn off Reynolda Road, Reynolda House is the restored mansion of Katharine and R.J. Reynolds, is a historic home that displays a premier collection of American art ranging from the colonial period to the present with masterpieces by distinguished artists such as Albert Bierstadt, John Singleton Copley and Grant Wood.
A special installation of Frederic Church’s masterpiece, The Andes of Ecuador, seen as it would have been on view in the mid-1800s, will be exhibiting through May..

- Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA)
Located less than one mile from Graylyn at 750 Marguerite Drive, SECCA consistently features the best of today’s regional and national contemporary artists. Exhibits change quarterly and have featured Gregory Warmack, Tom Friedman, Gordon Parks, William Wegman and Yoko Ono. The modern galleries are coupled with the elegant stateliness of the Tudor-style house that was once home of industrialist James G. Hanes. Public art/sculptures are featured on the grounds.
