My research interests are in the areas of chemical separations and chemical education.  I am currently collaborating with Dr. Dos Santos to identify/quantify several modified tRNA bases by LC/MS.   As far as chemical education, I am currently working to improve the Organic Laboratory sequence by creating exercises that are more reflective of the research lab environment.  In addition, I am modifying and scaling down all existing exercises so as to create a greener curriculum.
