Description of Research
Analytical chemistry: high efficiency separations of biologically-important molecules by capillary electrophoresis (CE). Interaction of proteins with near infrared dyes for detection by semiconductor laser-induced fluorescence. On-column chemical reactions for derivatization and chemical analysis. Fundamental CE studies of electrokinetic phenomena, binding affinities, and protein-dye stoichiometries. Characterization and quantitation of phycobiliproteins in cyanobacteria. --READ MORE--
