Advent Service of Lessons and Carols

The Advent Service of Lessons & Carols is held annually as the concluding service in Wake Forest University Divinity School’s fall chapel series. The service includes the Divinity School Choir, instrumentalists, liturgical dancers and student readers. Modeled after the traditional Christmas Eve Service of Nine Lessons and Carols, this service includes Old Testament readings and Advent hymns that prepare for the coming of Christ’s birth and embrace the mystery of God in our lives.
