Davis Chapel

The Paul Price Davis Chapel is located in Wingate Hall adjacent to Wait Chapel. Davis Chapel is used for University Worship and Divinity School services each week in addition to its regular use by campus ministries and other student groups, and is especially cherished by generations of brides and grooms as an intimate wedding setting.

10 Commandments Window in Davis ChapelThe chapel features stained glass shutters at each window, which can be closed for a candlelight service or opened to allow more natural light in the room. A white carved marble altar graces the front of the chapel, which seats approximately 90 people. A single-manual pipe organ by W. Zimmer & Sons Inc. of Charlotte, North Carolina (Opus 282), and an upright piano provide music for worship services in the chapel.
