The 'WF' symbol used in ironwork throughout the campus was one of Biebigheiser's designsLloyd Winchell Biebigheiser (1884-1961) was an architect hired by Jens Fredrik Larson to work on the construction of the Reynolda Campus. He designed a variety of ornamental features throughout the campus, including the popular "WF" symbol and other wrought iron designs. During his time on campus, the gifted artist photographed construction. The Biebigheiser Collection was a gift of the photographer's granddaughter Sarah Turner, and is held in the Special Collections Department of the Z. Smith Reynolds Library.

The pictures below are a small sample of the collection. For more information and full-sized pictures, please visit the Biebigheiser Collection page on the library's website.
