Open Recreation:
Open recreation represents the less structured or "free play" opportunities for students, faculty and staff. Because not all students are participating in a structured program sucha as intramurals or club sports, many recreational facilities have been set aside throughout the day for students to stop in and engage in exercise. Basketball, racquetball and tennis courts as well as the swimming pool and fitness center are readily available for students to play throughout the fall and spring semesters. For basketball, Students may play open recreation basketball inside the Reynolds Gymnasium during regular gym hours. They may also play on the Collins Basketball/Roller Hockey pad during its hours of play. Tennis can be played at the Leighton Courts after varsity and club play. Also, the upper recreation courts are available for open recreational tennis. There are eight racquetball courts on the third floor of the Reynolds Gymnasium that are open during normal Reynolds gymnaisum hours.
In order to participate in most indoor facilities, eligible participants must bring a Wake Forest University (Reynolda Campus) issued ID card.
