Unlimited classes, paid once per year

Group Fitness classes are available to all students, faculty and staff members
who have paid the annual Group Fitness of $40.

This fee is paid upon participation of the 1st group fitness class
after September 3, 2007. Student staff in the hall way of the 4th floor Miller Center
(Room Monitors) will be collecting all fees and registering group fitness memberships.
Bring your WF ID card.

Once paid, the participant may attend any/all classes offered, on an
unlimited basis until the following August (2009).

Payments may be made with Deacon Dollars, cash or check (made out to WFU).

WF ID cards will be checked at all classes, so please remember to bring them.

Fees collected through the Group Fitness Memberships will be 100% utilized to purchase more equipment, better equipment and cleaning supplies, as well as to provide continuing education for instructors and to bring in new instructors.
Equipment purchases will be made as soon as enough money is collected!

Please contact the Fitness Coordinator if you have any comments/concerns!

Other Policies

Class numbers are limited and participation is on a first-come first-serve basis. Come early to ensure your spot, especially during peak times.

Classes are designed for healthy individuals. It is recommended that you have a physical exam to determine your fitness level before participating in an exercise program.

Monitor your intensity during the aerobic portion of each class and adjust your workout accordingly.

If you feel faint, dizzy or short of breath, stop exercising immediately. Stop any movement that causes pain or discomfort.

Please plan on completing a proper warm-up and the entire cool-down.

Wear comfortable clothing including athletic shoes with good support and non-marking soles. For cycling classes, we suggest you wear padded shorts, stiff-soled or cycling shoes and bring a hand towel and water bottle.

Be aware or proper hydration before, during and after your workout.

Check with instructor for proper equipment set-up.

Thank you for your cooperation. We appreciate your comments and suggestions. Enjoy your workout!
