The Baseball club is for those who love to play baseball on a competitive level. The team will have a fall practice / intrasquad schedule during the fall semester and a 15-20 game regular schedule in the Spring. The club will play NC State's club Team as well as the neighboring universities. The baseball club practices and plays its games on campus. If you still love to play hard ball, plan on attending the team's next practice.

If you thought that your workouts were tough, then you have not encountered a session with the Crew Club. The Crew Club would like to invite you to join our workouts which consist of water practice three times a week, and land workouts three times a week. This club is fairly new, receiving official club status in 1998, but on a very exciting upward move, racing competitively with several southern teams.

The Cycling Club attempts to provide cyclists in the Wake Forest community with an organization through which it is possible to meet others with similar interests. Road bikers as well as mountain bikers are welcome to compete in National Collegiate Cycling Association events at other regional schools. Organized into different categories based on experience and sex, racers compete for conference championships as well as the opportunity to qualify for the National Collegiate Cycling Championships held in the Spring.

The women's Field Hockey Club is a club desiring to play competitive field hockey. Though they are a newly formed club they have a home and away schedule in the works as well as a weekly practice time slot. If you have any experience or interest in the club, come out to a practice today.

The hockey club is open to males and females, beginners and experienced players. We have come a long way in four years, all the way to playing our first competitive game against NC State. The Hockey Club skates once a week at the Coliseum Annex. Last year we played in a non check city Hockey league and will continue to play in that league.

The Lacrosse Club was founded to allow Wake Forest students to further their lacrosse experience. Our team is composed of between 20 and 30 members each year and is open to anyone interested, regardless of ability. Our season is in the spring, when we play 8 - 12 games, both home and away. We also practice twice a week in a relaxed atmosphere. We hope to see you out, whether it is playing or watching.

The Lacrosse Club is open to women of all skill levels. Our season is in the spring, and we practice 2-3 times a week. We also have matches against women's lacrosse teams from other neighboring schools.

ORAC

Outdoor Pursuits Campus Rec

ORAC is a student-run organization chartered by Wake Forest. The club was formed to bring students together who share a common interest in outdoor activities. The function of the club is to organize activities such as repelling, rock climbing, mountain biking, camping, white water rafting and skiing. Membership is open to all Wake Forest students and does not require any prior experience.

For over 20 years, the Rugby team has been an established and respected club sport at Wake Forest. In both the fall and spring seasons, the Deacon Ruggers get the opportunity to play against the most competitive teams in North Carolina and elsewhere. The fall season determines which is the best collegiate team in North Carolina. During the spring season, the rugby team plays in several tournaments with competition coming from all over the Southeast.

The Men's Club Soccer Team is an organization open to men of all skill levels. Interest has run so high, that in the past three years, we have divided the participants into two teams. Practices are two to three times a week; games are generally every weekend against other ACC club teams, as well as occasional tournaments.

The WFU Women's Club Soccer Team is an organization for female students to play soccer at a competitive level against other schools. The team enters an occasional tournament and three years ago, took second place at the Southern Women's Soccer Association Tournament at Appalachian State University. We practice Twice a week and play games on the weekends. We invite students of all levels to come out and play.

The women's fast pitch softball team invites all women who have an interest in fast pitch to come out this year. This is our second year in the National Club Softball Association (NCSA), where we're scheduled to play against teams in our league such as Duke, UNC-Charlotte, and Campbell University. We're looking forward to a competitive and fun schedule for both the fall and the spring semesters, with a home tournament being planned for the spring. Even if you're not sure of your skills, come practice with us! We'd love to have you.

The Wake Forest Club Swim Team enjoys yet another fun-filled season. In addition to hosting our own invitational meet each year, we travel to other colleges and universities, both within North Carolina and outside the state, for competitions in both the fall and spring semesters. We participate in Elon University's annual winter invitational meet against other club teams from schools up and down the east coast. Our annual April trip to UNF in Jacksonville, FL, is always a huge success and a fun, exciting weekend. The club team also participates and excels in the annual intramural swim meet here at Wake. Swimmers of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to check out the swim team. Eat my Wake!
