| Description: |
The concert will feature this year's Concerto Competition winners playing the pieces that they competed with. These include clarinetist Curtis Bloomer and cellist Evan Quinn playing the Mendelssohn Concertpiece No. 1, pianist Danrui Xiong playing the first movement of the Schumann Piano Concerto, and cellist Jihae Moon playing the last movement of the Elgar Cello Concerto. We will begin this concert with the "Berceuse and Finale" from Stravinsky's The Firebird and will conclude the concert with the Overture to The Cowboys of John Williams.
