Founders' Day Convocation is an annual gathering in Wait Chapel to observe the University's founding in 1834. The Medallion of Merit, the University's highest honor, will be presented by President Hatch. In addition, eight faculty and alumni award winners will be announced in recognition of excellence in teaching, research and service. Three seniors will present the winning Senior Orations and a video honoring seniors and their experiences over the past four years will be presented. Immediately following the service, a reception for the campus community hosted by the Provost's Office will be held in the Scales Fine Arts Center lobby. |
