| Description: |
The Christian Unity Committee of the North Carolina Council of Churches is proud to announce this year’s Conference on the Common Good on the topic “Church-State Relations.” Our keynote presenter for the discussion is Dr. Bill J. Leonard, Professor of Church History and the James and Marilyn Dunn Chair of Baptist Studies at the Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Following the keynote address, the conference will move to small group discussions.
Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. and our program begins at 11 a.m. with a devotion led by the Rev. Lawrence Womack, Rector of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem. Lunch for all registered participants will be served in the auditorium.
