James Martin is an art world detective, investigating the structure and chemical composition of works for the purpose of authenticating them for museums, auction houses, the Department of Justice, and the FBI. His lecture will show how scientific methods can help interpret and solve attribute issues of paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Jackson Pollock and others.
