| Description: |
Bats and moths form a classic system for the study of predator-prey interactions, with each side developing sophisticated means for defeating the other. The latest discovery in this battle is sonar jamming by tiger moths - this is, moths that generate ultrasound to disrupt bat echolocation or sonar. A discussion on how this was discovered, how the jamming works, and the most recent findings from studies conducted in the field.
