The Galapagos Study

Return Home

In 1995 we did a satellite tracking study in the Galápagos Islands in the eastern Pacific Ocean (click here for map) that was similar to the one planned for Hawaii. Use the panel on the right to view and study the travel routes of the five birds that we tracked.

This Galápagos Study will give you ideas to analyze the data coming in from Hawaii; check out how we did that study and how the data were processed.

The Galápagos Study was supported by a grant from the National Geographic Society.
