James has been involved with the Benson Center since its early days. He grew up in Greenville, South Carolina and earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education from Clemson University. When he is not busy cheering for his two sons' sports teams, he enjoys baseball, reading, music and ESPN.

Kathy grew up in Bluefield, West Virginia. She holds an BA in Education from Elon University and an MBA from Averett University. She enjoys tennis, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Kathy joined the staff at the Benson Center in 2002.

Gale is the long-term member of the Benson staff, having started working at Wake Forest in 1986. She is the proud mom of 2 sons, Brian and Michael, who live just down the road in Chapel Hill. When not scheduling events in Benson, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, cake baking and spending time with her cocker spaniel, Bailey.

Amy comes from Greensboro, North Carolina. She holds a BFA from NC School of the Arts and a BA from UNC-Greensboro. She is married with two children and enjoys playing guitar, computer graphics, and reading and writing fiction. Amy joined the staff at the Benson Center in 2004.

Heather has been employed by the University for 5 years. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Daniel, and they have an eight-year-old daughter, Samantha. When not helping faculty, staff and students with copying requests, she loves to spend her extra time with her family, at the lake or working in the yard.

Debbie joined the Benson Center in 2009. She and her family are enjoying living in Winston-Salem, after moving from Charlotte five years ago. Debbie attended Furman University and graduated from UNCC with a degree in French. In addition to yard work and interior decorating, she enjoys taking walks with her standard poodle brothers, Fred and Ricky.

Kelly has been employed by the University for 7 years. She is married to the love of her life, Randy. She has three children, aged ten to nineteen and a seven-month-old grandchild named Colby. She enjoys spending time with her family and on the softball field with her daughter.
