Benson University Center History
Through generous gifts from trustees, alumni, parents, faculty and friends of the university, the Benson University Center was opened in 1990. Dedicated and named for Clifton L. Benson, Sr., the Benson University Center is an active community enrichment center on campus which is home to a variety of special university wide events and student activities throughout the year.
As the center of a thriving campus, the Benson University Center is a uniquely designed 100,000 square foot facility whose form follows it function. Located at the heart of campus between Reynolda and Tribble halls, the Benson University Center offers a variety of informal places to eat, socialize, study and meet.
