Jennifer Layton enters her second year working with the Demon Deacon women's soccer and women's tennis teams. Previously, Layton spent three years as a full-time staff athletic trainer at Mississippi State University where her primary responsibility was working with the women's soccer program.
A native of Concord, North Carolina, Layton received her Bachelor of Science degree from High Point University and her master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science/Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). As a graduate assistant at North Carolina, she worked with swimming/diving and men's basketball.
Layton is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification. She resides in Winston-Salem.
