John Pickel
received his BFA in Photography and Art History from Indiana State University
in 1982. After graduating with a M.F.A. from Cranbrook Academy of Art
in 1986, he was appointed Visiting Assistant Professor of Photography
at Herron School of Art/IUPUI. In 1993, he was appointed Visiting Assistant
Professor at North Carolina State University, School of Design. In 1997,
John was appointed, Assistant Professor of Art in Photography and Digital
Imaging in the Art Department at Wake Forest University, where he set
up a conventional 15-station gang darkroom and a 15-workstation digital
studio and established a course sequence in photography and digital
media. |
