Department Chair

      Laughlin was an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia where she received a BA in 1981. She completed graduate studies at the Rhode Island School of Design and received a MFA in Painting in 1985. Laughlin's work is concentrated in painitng and in site-specific installations. Her artwork has been exhibited throughout the east coast and the San Francisco Bay area.
