INSIDE/OUTSIDE: Contemporary Cuban Art

Lecture by exhibition curator David Hart at 6pm

This exhibition assembles the recent work of artists born and/or educated in Cuba. The artists come from diverse backgrounds, live either in Cuba, Europe or the United States and exhibit throughout the world. The works in this exhibition are executed in a range of media including paintings, photographs, sculpture and multimedia installations that engage intellectual issues from the personal and psychological to larger social issues.

Juan Carlos Alom, María Brito, María Magdalena Campos-Pons, Sandra Ceballos, Carlos Estévez, Carlos Garaicoa, Armando Mariño, Manuel Mendive, Elsa Mora, Glexis Novoa, Olympya, Carlos Quintana, and José Angel Vincench.
