My
art is the culmination of forty years of effort and meditation. I have
spent much of my adult life immersed in the study and contemplation of
the esoteric sciences.
Buddhism, Hermetic Science, Gnostic Christianity,
Shiva Tantra represent the core of the teachings that is the focus of
my work. The art is a visual transmission from these different forms of
seeing and understanding. This suite of pictures, sixty-six in number,
is technically speaking pastel and prismacolor on Arches paper.
The esthetic is created through a synergism
of Eastern and Western line, the color being a New Age etherial value
synthesis. Much of the symbology in the work relates to the spirits of
Earth, Air, Fire, and Water that exist in the zone girdling the Earth.
This exhibit is dedicated to my Guru, His
Holiness Sri Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheswarananda, who is the
Lord of my heart. HARI OM
