Cultural Resource Management
The Wake Forest University Archeology Laboratories has over 20
years' experience in cultural resource management and offers a full range
of contract services including:
Community Involvement
Dedicated to public education and community involvement, the Wake Forest
University Archeology Laboratories offers a variety of services to local
governmental agencies, historical societies, special interest groups, and
educators. Often working in cooperation with the
Museum of Anthropology at Wake Forest, the staff of the Archeology
Laboratories is available for:
- Classroom presentations about regional prehistory and history
- Special archeological studies conducted for community organizations,
local governments, and historical societies
- Assistance to avocational archeologists ("hobbyists") in recording
and reporting discovered sites to the North Carolina Office of State
Archaeology
- Assist local groups or governmental agencies in seeking grant monies
for archeological studies
