Wake Forest moves to new records system
In July, the Alumni Records Office will transition to a new records system. For alumni, parents, and friends, the move should be invisible. Because demographic profiles with address and other information will simply move from the current system to the new one, Wake Foresters will continue to receive the Wake Forest Magazine, the What's New @ WFU e-newsletter (if we have your e-mail address on file), and other letters and notices. However, if you do notice a change in any Wake Forest communications after July 1, or if you see any errors, please contact the Alumni Records Office at alumrec@wfu.edu or (336) 758-5236 to make any necessary corrections. The New Orleans Hornets used the fourth pick in the NBA draft on sophomore Chris Paul, whom they hope will give them star quality at point guard. The Hornets went 18-64 last season. The 6-foot Paul is the quickest point guard in this draft and has every element except perhaps size. He has been likened to San Antonio's Tony Parker. A consensus All-American in 2005 as a sophomore and the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year as a freshman, Paul left Wake Forest with 948 career points, 395 assists and 160 steals.
