Academic Life: Study Abroad
The educational process has its core in the classroom but is by no means confined there. Wake Forest believes that opportunities for research and study outside the classroom are essential to a student's growth. The University owns residential study centers in London, Venice and Vienna, and each semester a faculty member directs a program related to the culture of these great cities. Students selected to spend a semester at the respective houses are also taught by experts in London theater, Venetian art and Viennese culture. Other study-abroad and exchange programs include:
