990 Forms
The 990 and 990-T are annual information tax returns for organizations exempt from tax on some or all of their income. The IRS regulations require that these tax returns filed by the University be available for public inspection. The most recent returns are available in the Controller's Office, University Corporate Center, 1100 Reynolds Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105 and in the Legal Office, Reynolda Hall. In accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 6104 and its Regulations, copies of Form 990 for year ended 6/30/10 are available for $15.00 plus postage (copies of 6/30/09 are available for $13.40 plus postage), or can be viewed in situ free of charge. Copies of the 990-T for 6/30/10 are available for $5.00 plus postage (postage is not required if an electronic copy is requested). Prior year forms are provided here for viewing and/or printing. Requests for electronic or paper copies of tax year returns may be made by sending the amount specified (20˘ per page) and a self- addressed stamped envelope to WFU Tax Director, P.O. Box 7201, Winston-Salem, NC 27109. Copies will be mailed or e-mailed, as requested, within 30 days of receipt of payment.
