Nathan O. Hatch, appointed in 2005, is the 13th president of Wake Forest University.

Provost

Provost Jill Tiefenthaler, formerly a professor of economics and consultant to the president at Colgate University, became provost at Wake Forest on Aug. 1, 2007, the first female appointed to that position in the University's history. As chief academic officer, she supervises and administers academic programs on the Reynolda Campus.
