Don Wolfe (BS and MS, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale; Ph.D. Cornell University) has taught at Wake Forest University since 1968. Formerly, he taught classes in acting, theatre history and lighting design. In recent years, his teaching has been confined primarily to introduction to theatre and directing. He has directed many productions at Wake Forest over the years. He is a past president of the North Carolina Theatre Conference as well as the Southeastern Theatre Conference. In March 1998, he received SETC's highest award for membership service, the Suzanne Davis Award.
